AVG Pro 7.5: How to remove drive from test?

B

Boppy

Hi guys, I've got AGV 7.5 on my Win XP PC and want to remove a couple
of drives from being scanned every day. The default scan called
Complete Test that came with the application will not let me click the
button for "user defined path" under Scan Details so I can't uncheck
the drives.

Nor can I delete Complete Test because it is a "system task".

Is there a way around this?

Thanks in advance for advice,

B

Can't do with the free version (which I have) but should be no prob for
the pro version. You sure you have that? Looks like you would just
disable the existing configuration and create a new one in Sheduler to
run when you want for whichever drive(s) you want.

Yes, I definitely have the Pro version. Not possible to delete that
scan, nor to edit it seemingly.

Oh come on.
I can turn it on or off in the free version.
Surely you can too.

Where do you turn it off in the free version?

Control Center, click Scheduler, Scheduled Tasks button at bottom (or
right click on Scheduler, Scheduled Tasks). Highlight task, Edit
Schedule, uncheck "periodically start ...".

Then make new schedule for what you want (button is there for me, but
can't do it in the freebie).
