AVG/"paperclip" in sent emails??

Monica

I just installed AVG (free version) on my daughter's new laptop (XP S2).
Every time I send an email, using OE6, it shows a paperclip on the
receiver's end indicating an attachment but there is NO attachment. I've
noticed this before with emails I get. I know it has to do with AVG, but
I'm wondering if there is a way to eliminate the paperclip icon.
Thanks,
Monica

Run the AVG Control Center

Click the big E-mail Scanner Button, then at the bottom of the same window click
the "properties" button

E-mail scanner properties will come up. Click the "configure" button.

UN-check the box for Outgoing "certify mail"

Click OK until you are back to the Control Center and then click the red X to close it.

It may be interpreting a "stationary" as an attachment.
Try sending in "Plain Text" rather than HTML and then see what the recipient gets.
