AVG Free 7.5 and ISA firewall?

Hi,
Does anyone know what has to be done to allow the email scanner of AVG
Free 7.5 to work behind ISA firewall?

I used AVG Free 7.1 + Thinderbird 1.5 and they worked fine with ISA. I
upgraded to 7.5 today and I cannot neither send, nor receive email via
AVG e-mail scanner. I get a message saying "An error occurred with the
POP3 mail server. Mail server localhost responded:" - that's all. With
the outgoing mail I get no messages at all, as if everything is OK, but
nothing is sent.

All settings (AVG servers, Thunderbird accounts) are the same.

It's probably something related to the ISA firewall, because if I
connect via dial-up, the AVG e-mail scanner works.

If you have changed a program (new version, etc), chances are you need
to update the firewall allowance, as it sees it as a new application.

The AVG 7.5 Free user manual and the Firewall Settings Guide talk
about the Win XP, Kerio, and Zone Alarm firewalls, but maybe that'll
help. They're PDF files on this page:

If not, try the forum: http://forum.grisoft.cz/freeforum/

If still no joy just disable e-mail scanning as it's redundant and
mostly useless if you practice basic safe hex.
