AVG 7 Free - Personal or Shared email scanner?

Having moved from 6 to 7, I find the interface a little more confusing.

Should I be using the Shared or Personal email plug-in? What's the
difference.

Using OE6 and XP Home.

My understanding is that in AVG7 there is an integrated mail scanner
to accomodates OE, Exchange, the bat, and qualcomm eudora. For these
use Shared. There is an optionally installed plug-in to accomodate
other mail clients. For these you use Personal scanner.

I think that is backwards. I run Calypso mail and mail scanning
must be set to Shared for it to work. For OE, it probably
must be set to Private. Send yourself an email and double
check it.
