Autotext

I can only get new autotext entries to save if I open the Normal.dot file and
create them directly into the template. Save the Normal.dot file. Close the
Normal.dot file. Then they display in any documents (old or new) from then
on. If I try to create a new autotext entry while in a document it saves it
and I can reuse it as long as the document has not be closed. If I close the
document and reopen it the entry is lost.

Suggestions?
