autotext

When I enter "page x of x" autotext in the header of my document it displays
on the screen perfectly but when I print it out each page reads 1 of 1, 2 of
2, 3 of 3 etc. and not 1 of 3, 2 of 3 and 3 of 3. Can anyone tell me why
please. I'm running Word 2000 on Windows XP.

There is a bug in Word that is different in different versions (including
different SRs).
