I would like cell(s) to generate text automatically
without having to type full word/sentance, etc., e.g. if
I type "p", then I would see "Poly Vinyl Chloride".

This is not the same as autocomplete.

I'm familiar with Autotext in MS Word but not sure if
this is possible in Excell.
Any suggestions, please help?
Thanks

Yes it is possible, Choose Tools, Options, EditTAb and
make sure that the "Enable Autocomplete... " check box is
ticked.

There is no "autotext" feature in Excel as there is in word.

Excel has "autocomplete" if the words are pre-entered in the cells above the
point of entry in that column.

You must have "enable autocomplete" checked in Tools>Options>Edit.

Tools>Autocorrect could also be used but would be rather unwieldy in this
particular case.
