Is there a way to set up an Autotext shortcut type key in
windows so it runs in all programs...

If I push F8 in Word or Excel or Outlook, the
word "Commission" will automatically be typed in??

Is this possible?

Thanks

Dave

I don't think so. Each program controls what it will do when F8 is
pressed.

The only universal tool that springs to mind in this context is the
clipboard. If you use whatever method you prefer to put "Commission"
into the clipboard, Ctrl+V should type that string in almost any
program. For more elaborate configurations, google for "clipboard
manager".
