Autostream and SP2

In the past I have always manually slipstreamed service packs. This is my
first time using Autostream. Does it automatically make the disk bootable?
I know that it makes an iso image, but does that iso image make a bootable
slipstreamed Windows disk?

Yeah, obviously I need a burning software that recognizes the basic iso file
type. But does it automatically make it bootable, or do I need to tell Nero
to do it like when I do it manually?

The Nero instructions start off with using Nero Burning Rom,
then CD-Rom (boot). Making it bootable is covered in most
instructions for Roxio also. Yes, it will boot. I don't know that
it contained within the iso image or written to the cd boot sector.
Autostream extracts the boot image from the win xp cd.

Autostream will burn the iso of the windows disk that *is* bootable and
use the boot.bin file from MS that is on the CD. You do not need to use
Nero's *bootable making options* at all. Just cancel all wizards and go
to the top of Nero and click on File and slide down to "Image..." and
click it and point it to the ISO that you made with Autostream and it
will burn a bootable CD.
