Autorun

When I insert a CD in my DVD or CD drive the autorun feature no longer works and it just sits there waiting for me to find the icon and run it or browse through run>...

I just want to simplify this - my kids need help every time they play a game now.

Have you by any chance installed Roxio EZ CD Creator?
This kills autorun...

Click on the My computer icon. Right click on your CD
Drive icon. Select Properties. There is an Autoplay tab in
this window that allows you to set different actions to
take for different file types. Set them to your
preference. Good Luck

Many other burning programs kill it as well primarily because it will
phark up their burning process.
