Autoreply from Group Mailbox

We have a group mailbox (really a folder) listed in the GAL that receives
mail with various type requests. Is there a way to generate an autoreply to
any message that sends an email to that address?
I'm sure the answer is in a thread on this site somewhere, but I tried
several different searches and haven't found it. Can anyone help?

Depends, is it an actual mailbox? If so the owner can create a separate mail
profile with that mailbox as the default mailbox instead of an additional
mailbox in your current mail profile and then use rules to create an
automated response.

No, that's my problem, since it's a folder and not an actual mailbox not sure
how to do this. Guess it will have to wait at least a week. I'll be out of
town for a week and will pursue this when i get back. Thanks
