Autoplay won't work

My autoplay use to work with my card reader and my Iomega
Zip drive but now doesn't. It works fine with the CD
drive. When I put in a Zip Disk the window pops up like
it's reading the files on the disk but then doesn't do
anythinbg. I can get it to work with my Zip drive if I
have the settings to open a folder but won't work
with "Ask me.....". Doesn't work at any other setting. It
use to work with my card reader when I put in the card
from my digital camera but now doesn't work at any
setting. Any suggestions? I've tried the "Autofix"
program but according to that it works fine. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thank for your suggestion. The thing is that is the same
auto fix that I got from Microsoft. I guess what I should
have put in my original post is that autoplay doesn't
work with my removable drives, ie. smart card or Zip
disk. It acts as if it's reading the disk but it doesn't
open the window so I can choose what I want to do next.
