Autoplay/"What do you want Windows to do" popup doesn't show up with flash drive

Hi there.

My apologies if this has been asked before. I'm running on Windows XP
and I'm having a slight beef with my computer's reaction (or lack
thereof) whenever I insert my 256 mb PNY flash drive into one of the
USB ports. See, upon detection of the inserted flash drive, Windows XP
wouldn't give me this popup window which asks me what I want to do with
the contents of the flash drive, like the option to "Open folder to
view files". I get the popup, though, when I insert CD-ROMs or plug in
my digital camera.

So I have to go through all the trouble of going to My Computer to
browse the contents of my flash drive from there. Does this have
something to do with the brand of the flash drive?

Thanks.
