Automatically switching betwen open windows...HELP?

If I have more than one I.E. window open, I often start loading a page in
one window, and because I have a slow connection, I switch back to the other
window while it's loading. Very often, I.E. will automatically switch back
to the other window once that page has loaded (this always seems to happen
with Amazon, and Yahoo Mail, pages with forms I think).

I HATE this. Is there anyway to get I.E. to stop automatically switching
between open windows?

The easiest solution is to minimize the window you don't want to see.

PowerMenu 1.51 (freeware) from
http://www.veridicus.com/tummy/programming/powermenu/ has a "stay on top"
function, as well as a few other features. It would require about the same
effort as minimizing the other window, but may be useful in other
situations.
