?? Automatically Swicthing Power Plans ??

R

Robin Bowning

Hello there,

I have a laptop running Vista Business.

I was hoping it was possible to configure Vista to *automatically* use the
"Power Saver" power plan when my laptop is running from batteries and
*automatically* use the "High performance" power plan when plugged in. It
doesn't seem this is possible. Am I missing some configuration option?

Thanks,

Robin

What you can do is set the various individual advanced options for the plan
to be different when running on batteries or plugged in, this achieves the
same thing. Every individual option has two sets of settings for battery and
plugged in.

Control Panel - Power Options - Edit Plan Settings - Change Advanced power
Settings
