I want to have Access auto fill in the complete city name when I begin to
type in the first few letters of the name

Where do you propose Access would obtain that information?

Are you planning on limiting the cities to a certain geographic region, or
are you looking for a list of every city in the world?

How will you resolve duplicate city names? I believe "Aberdeen" and
"Paris" show up in more than one area of the world...

I was born in Portland. My Dad was from Texas, My Mom from NE Portland.
Moved back to Texas at age 3 (I have a function to calculate that), did my
last year of High School at Madison in Portland. 1961-62
Moved to Portland in 92, then to Salem in 96, Back to Texas 1/2002

PacNorthwest is, by far, the most beautiful part of the country (but, it
ain't Texas)

You have to be a Texan to understand.

I also like long walks on the beach, candle light dinners, and blowing up
things with shotguns.

Use a Combo Box control based on a table of cities.
