Automatically deleting earlier messages in a conversation

Is there a way to set up Outlook so that if someone replies to a message I
have sent them, that the original message is deleted from my sent items?

I don't need both their reply and the original email if their reply contains
the original message at the bottom.

I know I can do this by finding 'related messages' or arranging view 'by
conversation' and deleting earlier message manually, but just wondered if
there was a way to set Outlook to do it automatically for me.

Thanks!

No, not natively. You might actually want to turn this into a suggestion so
people can vote on it.
