automatic updates

When I try to get my automatic updates I get the following message-
(The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem. )
Does anyone know how I would overcome that?
I am using Windows XP Professional on a laptop by gateway.

What happens when you go start > all programes and at the top microsoft
updates do you get the same result ??
It sounds like you are going to the online support page.
Make sure youre updates are on via control panel.Try link
