Automatic Updates and Office

I have Automatic Updates configured to run and install critical security
updates every day at 3:00 a.m. Although it installs updates for Windows XP,
it does not install updates for Office 2003. Has anyone seen this issue
before? I have to manually update Office on all my clients.

If you have only Windows Update, but not Microsoft Update, you won't get
anything for Office - only for Windows.

What happens if you manually go to the Windows Update site? Does it redirect
you to Microsoft Update? If not, you can probably find the option there to
upgrade to MS Update.

Note that a better group for WU questions is microsoft.public.windowsupdate.

AFAIK the Office updates are not automatic
