automatic update

Hi,
Automatic update 819696 pops up at least once a day,
sometimes twice,and installs normally but doesn't seem to
stick hence the daily reccurance.Any thoughts?

Possible solutions:

1 - Delete or rename the folder c:\windows\system32\catroot2

Then do the updates again.



2 - Start/stop the auto-update service.

Start, control panel, administrative tools, services, right click automatic
updates, click stop. Right click again, click start.
