Automatic Update vs SP1a

I'm subscribed to auto updates but its not recommending I
update to SP1a for XP Prof....anyone know why? is SP1a
an optional update that that the update center
doesn't 'call out' specifically? thanks

Are you running SP1 at all? I don't believe automatic
updates will prompt for service packs, it just prompts
for critical security updates IIRC.

Windows Update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com)
should list it if you need it.
