Automatic start

Hi

i just wanted to know what program or feature i can use on windows xp where
i can set a specific time to start movies or songs automatically without have
to do it manually

Please advice

The start menu, accessories/ Administrative Tools has the Task Scheduler.

i tried it at task scheduler for window media player
But it only opens the appilcation it does not automatically play the songs
or movies i have in the playlist

You need the /play option when you start WMP. For details, see

Have Task Scheduler run the mp3 or movie file you want instead of Media
Player, and it will automatically open Media Player to run the mp3 or
movie file.
