Lately I am automatically being siged in to windows messenger.
This was never the case.
How do I STOP the messenger from automatically signing me in whenever I open
OuttlookExpress.
Thank You

Greetings,

To stop this behavior, close Outlook Express, then download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/stopmessenger_oe.reg

After this, Messenger will no longer load with OE. Ever.

I'd like to find out how to stop Messenger from signing me on automatically
when I open the program. It doesn't ask for my .NET password, or anything,
just signs me on, and I don't see a "auto sign in" check box anywhere that I
could uncheck..

Found my own answer:

To get the behavior you want, click the Start Button, then click the Control
Panel. Then,
click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select the Windows XP account name you're currently
logged under, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my
Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and
click 'Remove'.
