Automatic Shutdown ?

Since performing a clean install of windows xp, My
computer no longer shuts down automatically.
Instead it tells me `it is now safe to turn off your
computer`
I have looked in power options, advanced. The `power
buttons` section is not there?

How can I get my PC to turn off ?

Kevin, see if there's anything you can enable in the Bios. Also, check
here

to Shutdown.
