More than likely it happened after you either installed a
program or uninstalled a program.
I had the same problem after uninstalling CD CREATOR. I
went to their site and like most vender sites they have a
support center or forum. This particular site had a fix
that I could download. It removed the component that was
causing the auto reboot.

What does it do? Does it just stop, does it go to a screen that says, "It's
safe to shutdown your computer," does it stop at a screen that says,
"Windows is shutting down or is it something else?
