automatic send/receive and open in inbox

Please can anyone tell me how I can:

a) Configure Outlook 2003 AND 2007 to open automatically in the Inbox

and

b) Configure Outlook 2003 AND 2007 to automatically send and receive mail
when I OPEN the programme.

b. 'Tools|Options|Mail Setup', "Send immediately when connected".

This does not control sending when Outlook starts. The OP must specify a
send/receive interval.
