Automatic 'Save' promt when closing Word 2007

I some times forget to deliberately save my changes to a word document before
I exit Word. I usually select the X in the upper right to close the Word
window or select 'close' in the word pull down menu. It will close with no
notice that the currently open document(s) have unsaved changes.

Excel will promt 'do you want to save the changes'. Prior versions of word
did this in the default mode.
 
It always asks _me_ if I want to save the changes. Have you maybe
developed the excellent habit of automatically typing Ctrl-S so
frequently that you don't even notice you're doing it, and then you
didn't make any changes since the last time you did it?
