automatic restore map network drive & low login local network

I am using Windows XP professional but I have two problem:
1- I had map network drive but when I restart computer, I
can't open program on this drive until I click on this
drive to open this drive.
2- My old computer (Using Windows 2000 professional) can
logon local network is OK, but I use new computer (laptop)
with Windows XP professional, I logon local network very
low (My company have 3 laptops with the same configuration
and Windows XP professional, but the same problem)

Please help me ASAP
