Win XP Home SP1 automatically reboots at a certain point
in the start up sequence (prior to going to the login
screen). It does this on a consistant basis. Replacing
the Kernel32 file did not work in resolving this problem.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like you have a bad driver. Can you get into Safe Mode? If so,
look in Event Viewer (Administrative Tools applet in Control Panel) for
clues.

No such luck. It won't boot from normal, safe mode (any
version of), etc. It just restarts each time. Any other
thoughts?

If the computer is unbootable in any mode then your next option is
probably a Repair Install.

See http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm for detailed
instructions.

Good luck
