Automatic logon not working

in my xpsp2, I have used tweakui (powertoys) to tell it to
automatic logon to administrator ( my single user pc).

There is no password set.

However, it still stops and shows the logon screen with the name
of administrator and I have to press enter to choose the blank
password and it duly logs in.

How to make it stick to automatic logon?

Go to Start / Run and type, control userpasswords2 and press OK.

Remove the check mark from the "Users must enter a user name and password to
use this computer" option and press OK.
