Automatic "log off"

What controls the amount of time that it takes for XP Pro to automatically "log off" a logged in user? I can't find this anywhere in the docs. It's not really logging off, but it requires a re-input of the password. The user is still logged in (so that their settings don't have to be reloaded) but the user still has to re-enter their password.

I should add that the request for the password DOES NOT match the amount of time that I have set for Standby... they don't seem linked in any way.

In XP Pro:
Power Options: option requiring password on resume

System BIOS Power Settings: Enable in BIOS but select "user defined" or
"controlled by operating system" for time limits

Screensaver: another option regarding logon password to resume

Local Security Policy: Security Options : A few settings here. Should not
be a concern unless a sysadmin defined times for log off at end of session.

Right click the Desktop, select Properties, Screen Saver, change the time out value or uncheck the box On Resume..............
