Automatic email with an hyperlink to excel

Hello,
I would like to know if its possible to make in Outlook or word 2003 a
letter which:
1. Is sent to a contact list (I know how to do step 1 but not step 1+2
together)
AND
2. Each e-mail sent to each different person is linked to a number, in the
body of the text, which is next to each email in an excel column and file.
The number will appear in each of the letters, corresponding to the right
person.

Does someone know how to do it?

Thanks

It's called mail merge and you should find all you need in the Office help
files.
