automatic completion cache - missing names

I have a user stating that their automatic completion cache is missing names.
They say that they did not delete them manually from the drop down list. Is
there a size limit or time limit on the cache? They have most of the names -
just not all of them. Please advise. Thanks!

I've seen no reproducible situations in which this information just randomly
goes missing for no reason, which appears to be your claim.

That was my thought - I just wanted to make sure that I was correct in what I
told my user - Thanks for your help and advising how many addresses it will
cache.

Sometimes, when the profile becomes corrupt or the NK2 file is set to read
only, recent entries are not saved from one session to the next.

In addition to Russ' comments, make sure your user realizes that the name
cache DOES NOT reference their Contacts in any way whatsoever. Perhaps they
believe it does and when they don't see some of their Contacts in the name
cache they are mistakenly believing names are missing.
