Automagically Lock a users Desktop (Active Directory -> GP Objects

Hello,

Can someone advise on this one please ?
We want to set a Group Policy Object on a specific OU that will
automagically lock a users desktop after a period of inactivity.

Looking in other newsgroups - many people seem to just set a password on a
screensaver...We dont want this though, we want the locking to take place as
if a user had pressed ctrl-alt-del (Lock this computer)

Can anyone advise on this please ?

I'm not totally following why a password protected screensaver won't work
for you.

It is the same thing as Danny referred to. The screensaver acts as the timer
to lock the computer after the specified idle period. Try it and it should
do what you want. --- Steve
