Normally the admin account is not renamed when deploying using RIS...

you could try the import the registry values using cmdlines.txt (put
the $oem$ at the same level as i386 and dont forget to set
OemPreinstall=Yes in the [Unattended] section)

I've gotten RIS working perfectly to deploy Windows XP apart from one
problem.
The Administrator account on the client PC is renamed when the PC
joins the domain (as part of unattend.txt). Therefore, when the PC
tries to AutoLogon, the account name is no longer valid.

Is there a way of introducing changes to the registry prior to first
logon via RIS?

Or any other way of modifying the AutoLogon details.
