Is it possible for me to setup autologin on XP? I recently upgraded from
Win2K to XP and cannot figure out how to have the password automatically
entered on startup. If I delete the password for the only user on the
machine it skips the login screen but I don't really want to remove the
password. Thanks for any help.

The easiest way is to find a program called tweakUI for
XP. It is generally considered a power tool for the
operating system. In TweakUI, there is an autologon
options and a place to put your user id and password.

I just tried that but the check box was already unchecked - so I could not
follow your steps. I checked it and immediately unchecked it but I did not
find a way to get the dialog that asked me for the name/password for
autologon.

Thanks again
