autofill addresses in word ala outlook

In Outlook, once you have sent an e-mail to an address, the next time you
start typing the address, the "TO" field shows all of the names srarting with
the first character and reduces the choice until you decide to choose one.

I have spent several hours trying to find a similar solution for MS Word
2003 letters. That is, when I start typing the name of someone I have written
to before, I would like the names to show until I choose one, at which time
the full address, i.e. name, company if applicable, street address state /
province etc are automatically filled in.

Is there a simple solution for this or is it as hard as it appears to be?
All suggestions greatefully received.

Provided you keep your addresses in Outlook (to aid with that you may find
http://www.gmayor.com/create_outlook_entries_from_word.htm useful) and
Outlook is your default e-mail application The Insert Address button will
list previously used addresses that you have inserted using that function
and enable you to pick addresses from the address book for insertion. You
may also find the insert address macro at
http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm useful.
