I'm having a strange problem and hope somebody can help me. After installing
sp2 a couple of my really old applications (built for win 3.1) stopped
working. I found that the way around this was to copy the file autoexec.nt
from the repair folder into the system32 folder. Now my problem is how to
get this file to stay there! Every time I reboot it quietly disappears from
the system32 folder and has to be copied back in for me to be able to run
the programmes. Why is this happening and is there any way around this? Okay
so it doesn't take me long to copy it back in but all the same....

Thanks for the input. I think that autoexec.nt needs editing but not sure
quite what commands to put in there.

Got the answer - just needed to check the Read only box.
