autocorrect problem

I'm using word 2007 and the option to "automatically use suggestions from the
spelling checker" is greyed out. At the top of the dialogue box it indicates:
Autocorrect: English (United Kingdom). How can I get access to this option
that is greyed out? As well, how can I replace the English version to United
States or Canada?

FWIW, you don't want to enable that option, as it will result in often
ludicrous replacements that you may not notice. As for the language, you
need to change that in Windows; see
