AutoCorrect not working

I have a number of entries in AutoCorrect, but I have a
document in which none of those entries work. For example,
I can have two documents open in memory: AutoCorrect
entries work fine on the first document (or other
documents), but simply do not work in the document in
question. I have tried relinking the document to
normal.dot; it does not help. My acl file is MSO1033.acl
(it is a 70kb file), but the problem document always seems
to create its own acl file, MSO2057.acl (37kb).

How do I make the problem document link to the 1033 file?
Unless I am missing something obvious, it seems to me that
this is an odd problem, as aren't all open files supposed
to read from the same AutoCorrect list?

Thanks.

Check the language setting in the problem file. AutoCorrect and the .acl
files are language-specific.

Many thanks Charles, that did the trick - somehow the
language had changed from US to UK English.
