Autocorrect capital letter after numbers 2007

I want to stop Word from making the first letter a capital letter after
writing a number and ".". Like 1. september not 1. September as Word corrects
it to.
I tried adding this in exceptions in Word - Autocorrect where all the other
exemptions are, but it will not add this "1." it's like it will not add
numbers.
Any suggestions

Word thinks that the following Word is the beginning of a sentence. Alas,
Word is not always "intellisensible" enough to know the difference. To
prevent it from happening, turn off Capitalize first letter of sentences in
the AutoCorrect tab (Office - Word Options - Proofing - AutoCorrect
Options).

Of course, in your example, Word will gripe about september in any case,
since months usually are capitalized in English.

And it may well be that if the language of the text were changed to the
appropriate one (where months *aren't* capitalized), this AutoCorrection
would not occur.

It does in the Danish version, even though months aren't capitalized in
Danish. Ordianal numbers are written as "1.". So the problem applys to all
ordinal numbers in the Danish version.
