Autocorrect acronym

Word 2007 -- Want to use the acronym HSA, but Word changes it to HAS. Tried
to create exception, but Word would not allow the capitalized HSA, only
lower-case hsa. HSA was still being autocorrected - but hsa was not, which
is the opposite of what I wanted! Is there a way to keep hsa autocorrected
to "has," but not have HSA autocorrect to HAS?

You may have to delete the AutoCorrect entry for "hsa" or just Ctrl+Z after
every correction of HSA, whichever causes the less grief.

HSA is such a commonly-used acronym around here that deleting the
autocorrect entry for hsa is one of the first things done on a new
installation of Word. The acronym is used FAR more frequently than
mis-typing "has". :)

I think that would be my inclination as well if I were in a health care
situation.

thanks for the feedback. Yes, I went with the option of deleting the
autocorrect and just letting spellchecker pick up any misspellings of "has."
Too bad that autocorrect doesn't recognize the all caps as a different word.
