Autocomplete lists all addresses twice

Using autocomplete in Outlook 2002 most of the addresses appear twice. I type
the first characters of an address and use the tab-key to go to the subject
field. Most of the autocompleted addresses appear twice or - much worse - one
and a half times, like that: (e-mail address removed); testus; . The result is a
message, that the user "testus" is unknown.
Deleting the nk2-file did not solve the problem, the new saved addresses in
a new nk2-file behave the same way.

You aren't using autocompletion.
You are using autoresolution, which displays your Outlook Address Book.
I doubt those are duplicates. The Outlook Address Book lists every
electronic address for each Contact. Look at them more closely.

I have got activated both options, autocompletion and autoresolution. I'm
sure, the addresses are correct, they are listed in our global address book
and I cannot find them in my personal addressbook. When I deactivate
autocompletion, autoresolution works proberly. And the other way round: when
I deactivate autocompletion, autoresolution works fine. Only both of them do
cause the problems.

You need to start at the beginning and provide a far more accurate and far
more complete description of your problem. Do not leave out important
information such as your information store and how you are making the
distinction between autocompletion and autoresolution. You seem to be
confusing the two. You have also introduced two new variables: the GAL, and
a PAB (which Outlook has not used for years)--neither of which you mentioned
before.
We cannot help without accurate and complete information. We are not mind
readers.
