Autocomplete history

Auto-complete history of web addresses is supposed to be
cleared when we clear the history. However, a few .php
links don't seem to get cleared! How can we clean them?

Note that autocomplete suggests entries from the
Bookmarks and from files on the Desktop. But the .php
files aren't anywhere there. They must be cached
somewhere.

I am using windows XP.

Hi,
These are probably coming from the index.dat file in the History folder.
Delete the history folder. A new one will be created on restart. See
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
