AutoComplete function won't work

I have XP home edition. I am familiar with using this as
I have it on another computer. For some reason the
AutoComplete feature doesn't work. It is set to save
passwords, but doesn't. My outlook express won't save
the password either, even though it is set to do so.
This feature works fine on my other computer. Can anyone
help on this? Thanks
 
Have you tried going to tools in IE, clicking Internet
Optins, then going to the content tab. On the bottom half
of that window, there is a section marked personal
information - button labeled auto complete -- if you hit
that, it brings up options of what it will auto complete,
or not complete for you by default. This is where you can
also clear information it has stored previously if you
need/want to for any reason.
