Autocomplete entries problem

I'm finding from time to time that the Autocomplete is a bit fickle.

For instance I'll be making entries down a column and sometimes th
autocomplete doesn't bring up the entry I want so I have to type in th
whole entry.

I think the reason is maybe a break in the column of information. I
there a way around this so that I always have the autocomplete or som
other way that I can select from a prepared list or add a new nam
thats not already on the list ?

AFAIK, there is no workaround.

Hi

If you double-click on the top border of the cell you are in, it should take
you to where the break in the column is (unless there are higher ones too).
If you hit a space bar in this cell, it will rejoin the top bit with the
bottom bit - as it is now a contiguous block again.
