AutoComplete, Auto In-line Complete

V

Vince Fender

I have a HP Pavilion 514x with Windows XP Home as my OS.
I cannot get the auto complete feature to work on this
computer. I have gone into Internet Options, Content,
and checked all the features available,l rebooted the
computer, unchecked it, rechecked it, rebooted it, on and
on, on many ocassions, yet cannot get the autocomplete to
work.

Is this a known issue? I cannot find anything in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base referring to my problem. And
what actions to I need to rectify this issue?

Thanks,
Vince Fender

This fix applies to Outlook and other programs that store passwords
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and Autocomplete.
