Running Windows 2000, During boot up the following message appears
"autochk not found". Then the boot up continues.

Autochk.exe does not exist in file folder C:\WINNT\system32, and when I
got a copy from another computer, the folder is locked as read only.

Please help.

Thanks

Try updating your system with the service pack, else copy and paste the
Autochk.exe file from another system to ur winnt/system32/ folder.
