autochk -- how to?

Hi,

1.add registry :
Hkey_local_machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\ BootExecute:REG_MULTI_SZ: autocheck autochk *
2.copy "autochk.exe" and "chkdsk.exe" to windows\system32.
but it's not working!
Can anyone help me?

Hi Buffy,

perhaps you just did not see it working. Try and add "\fastdetect \sos"
in your boot.ini.

If that does not work, choose the component so that autochk.exe is
automatically in your operating system - perhaps something is missing.
