auto updates

I have received an auto update for my computer I have MS
XP PRO. The problem is the updates cant be successfully
downloaded. I continue to receive the same updates for
downloading with the same result, I attempt to
download,but I receive an error that the updates cant be
successfully downloaded.What do I do ? It appears all
other updates for my computer have been blocked until
these updates are downloaded or are cancelled.

turn off your antivirus(probably Norton,it's good for

that)turn off your firewall,and then try to download the
updates,then turn back on you AV and firewall and run
your antivirus scan.

For WinXP - try
Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 wintrust.dll
